William H, Warren is a native Texan and grew up just south of Houston. He has spent his entire life near the Texas Gulf Coast. While attending The University of Houston in 1968, he was drafted into the military, and spent the next 4 years in the Navy, mostly cruising on a destroyer in the Western Pacific.
He enjoys reading historical novels and mysteries. William H. believes that the two greatest works he has ever read are, “Old Man and the Sea”, and “Adventures of Don Quixote.”
His other published work is GROWING UP IN CLUTE, TEXAS AND VELASCO. Mr. Warren has always been a people watcher. When ordinary folks do extraordinary things, it captures his imagination. For example murder down the street, or someone spilling hot coffee in their lap at Starbucks.
William is a retired gentleman who enjoys writing and sailing his 36’ Hunter sailboat with his wife, on Galveston Bay. Warren considers himself lucky to live in Houston, where NASA, the Astrodome, and the World Champion Houston Astros are nearby. William lives with his wife, Betty in a quiet neighborhood in Pearland, Texas.
